Local, Knowledgable Guide
My roots are in Strathspey and the Cairngorms National Park. I spent all my school holidays on the family farm and have now returned to live here. A keen walker and local historian, I’ve explored all the well and lesser known sites that would entrance any tourist. With Masters degrees in Scottish Cultural Studies and Genealogy, I’m able to relate the stories, events and local heritage for this area that made us, Strathspey and the Highlands who we are.
In 2019 I began studying at the University of the Highlands and Islands for a professional qualification in tourist guiding, recognised by the Scottish Tourist Guide Association.
